Learning how to successfully implement ePortfolios will require a significant amount of time, and teachers should feel supported during the entire process. During this time, teachers creating their EP will be fully engaged in its construction so that they can better model for their students the effectiveness of their own ePortfolios. This long-term professional development is specific to the creation of the ePortfolios. As teachers, we also learn by doing.
